Weihua has recently completed the delivery and commissioning of 5 sets of 320-ton ladle cranes for a key metallurgical project in Hebei, China. Tailored for heavy-duty steelmaking and molten metal handling, these high-performance cranes have officially been put into formal production, helping the client greatly improve workshop operating efficiency and overall production capacity.

This project consists of two customized specifications, including 3 sets of 320/80/15t-25m ladle cranes and 2 sets of 320/80/15t-31m ladle cranes. All units are specially designed for harsh, high-frequency metallurgical working conditions and have achieved stable and reliable operation on-site.

Different from ordinary workshop cranes, these 320t ladle cranes adopt a four-girder and four-rail structural design. The main reducer features an ultra-stable mechanical structure. With interchangeable crane and trolley wheels, paired with a four-wheel drive trolley system, the equipment delivers outstanding load-bearing performance. It supports long-term full-load operation and effectively guarantees operational safety under continuous heavy working loads.

In terms of electrical control and intelligent safety configuration, the whole series of cranes are equipped with industry-leading protective and monitoring systems, fully adapting to rigorous metallurgical production standards:

1.Redundant control system for continuous safe operation

The independent redundant control design supports instant switching in case of single mechanism failure. It effectively avoids equipment shutdown risks and ensures 365-day stable and continuous production.

2.Multi-dimensional safety early warning system

Built-in smoke detection, restricted area operation reminder and remote wireless intercom functions provide all-round on-site safety supervision, helping operators eliminate hidden dangers in advance.

3.Full-cycle equipment life monitoring system

The system real-timely monitors key operating data including reducer vibration, motor temperature and electrical equipment status. It automatically records and analyzes fault data, making daily maintenance more accurate and extending the overall service life of the crane.
